Hope After Hurt Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit organization based in Houston, TX, founded by Shar J. Rachal, a mother who has personally navigated the pain of pregnancy loss, unexplained infertility, and the ART journey. After experiencing these challenges alone, Shar created Hope After Hurt to provide a safe and supportive community for women facing similar struggles.

The mission of Hope After Hurt is to offer support, resources, and a sense of belonging to women who are dealing with pregnancy loss, infertility, or the emotional complexities of the ART journey. Shar’s journey to motherhood was blessed when she conceived her daughter through ART on May 4, 2022. She is passionate about helping other moms connect, heal, and find hope after hardship.
